Hypnosis is a state of increased suggestibility. In hypnosis we can calm the busy mind and focus on the changes we want to make, visualising experiencing those feelings in our imagination. This visualisation can be a powerful experience leading to lasting change.
We use the term hypnotherapy when hypnosis is used for therapeutic aims.
Using cognitive behavioural techniques, we will work together to decide on the best steps to take to achieve your goals and we can use hypnotherapy to visualise and embed the changes you want to make.
I work with all ages, from around 6 years old up.
For adults and teens
After discussing your goals at length I will guide you into hypnosis, a relaxing and pleasant state, where you will be able to listen to and accept powerful suggestions to help you achieve your goals.
You will not lose control nor do anything you do not want to do. Many people really enjoy hypnosis and feel refreshed afterwards.
I often also teach clients relaxation, breathing and self-hypnosis techniques to continue working on goals outside of the therapy room.

During our sessions I empower children to develop their own tools to enable them to take control. I may use toys, stories, games, drawing, metaphors and books to discover the path for us to take together.
